The Somerset Yard Bash 5 is a relaxed day out with a small amount of visits mostly because of the different day of running this tour. Usually I run on Saturday’s however a lot of work and patience has gone into arranging a visit to the South Gloucestershire Bus & Coach depot at Patchway, and they have invited us to a visit however a Sunday was highly recommended to see the variety of older and modern vehicles. We will also visit the Faresaver depot at Chippenham, where almost all the fleet will be there to view. You will also each receive an up to date fleet list courtesy of our Faresaver host, Oscar.
We will also have a visit Carmel Bristol, Blue Iris and the Abus yard.

If there is time we will have a roadside visit at Turners Coachways.

For operational reasons, the tour starts at Chandlers Depot at 10:00am. You can park the car for free and have time to view the fleet at the yard. The Postcode is BA14 4JN. We will also be picking up at Trowbridge Trinity Church (opposite the Park/Play area) at 10:15am and Chippenham Rail Station at 11:00am. Car Parking is available at the Sadlers Mead car park opposite the railway station which is FREE on Sundays.
We aim to return to Chippenham for around 18:00
